Tip 1 To Help You Read The Bible As A Beginner
Decide on the time and the place. By this I mean when would be the best time for you to make time for God? Many of my friend’s as well as myself enjoy morning prayer time with God.
It may mean waking a little earlier than normal or adjusting your morning routine but it will be time well spent.
You may decide that evening time is much better for you. When children are in bed and you can rest and relax in the word rather.
Or you may wish to read The Bible at another time in the day, before or after school run, over lunchtime or at a set time each day. Whatever your choice try to schedule a set time for this activity.
Even if you start with just 5 minutes a day you can build on that and increase gradually.
How To Create A Special Space
You can even go to a special space or create one where you can enjoy this journey with God. It is really up to you. In The Bible it says
You can create a cosy space in your bedroom, a prayer wall with favourite pictures, verses, or words. or you can create a whole war room to help you interact with God when reading your Bible.
The choice is yours, no matter how big or small, humble or luxurious it should just be a space where you can feel the Holy Spirit as you connect with God. It will feel like a safe and enjoyable place to be.

I find Praise & Worship very special. Its how I connect with God the easiest. Its where I feel his presents and that of the Holy Spirit the most. A lot of the songs come from pieces in The Bible.
Listening to praise and worship can help you overcome things that may be holding you back. When I first experienced the people during praise and worship, I found it a little strange but I also saw how free they looked and that intrigued me.
They did their own thing when they were worshipping and they were not worried in any way by how others perceived them. Some were happy and joyful while others were quite or even overcome with emotion.
Its something I watched avidly when I was starting my journey with God and The Bible and something I can’t live without now.
